Original Oil Painting | 24" × 30"

Sometimes God's provision looks nothing like what we expect.

Peculiar Provision was inspired by the story of Elijah, when God used ravens to bring him food in the wilderness. It's a beautiful reminder that God isn't limited by what makes sense to us, and His ways of providing are often far more unexpected than we could imagine.

This painting was born out of a season in my own life when I was learning that very lesson. I believed that working harder was the logical path to provision, but God was gently inviting me to rest instead. And in that rest, He showed me that His faithfulness wasn't dependent on my striving.

With its sweeping wings, delicate lilies, and touches of light, this painting is a reminder that we can trust God to provide, even when His ways don't look like ours.

My hope is that wherever this piece finds its home, it becomes a gentle invitation to loosen your grip, rest in His faithfulness, and remember that the God who fed Elijah through ravens is still providing for His children today.

If this is a reminder your heart needs, I would love for Peculiar Provision to find a place in your home, where it can encourage you to trust His provision through every season.
